unable to run installed copy of Kali Linux off USB

Weird issue here, hoping for some ideas or assistance. I am using a Sandisk SlimFit 32gb USB drive. I am able to set up a USB Persistence enviornment and boot it up on my HP laptop running Windows 7 Ultimate. However, when I try to actually install a copy of Kali Linux onto the drive (graphical and non graphical have been attempted), it installs but will not boot up. I have edited to MBR on my laptop to be able to boot up from the USB but I encounter some errors. My computer lets me choose Kali Linux as the OS to boot to but when it tries to load is when I get the errors. I have added a link to the screenshot (I keep getting errors when trying to upload a pic on here) of what happens when it tries to boot up to the USB drive. Sorry in advance for the low quality, I took it with my cell phone as I wasn't sure if I could screenshot at this screen.
