    Grey Screen After loggin

    Hey Guys

Today I have installed Kali linux 64bit on my Notebook with Intel Processor and Nvidia gtx 780m. I have two Disk one is a SSD and one a HDD. On my SSD is Windows 10 installed. And Kali linux is on the HDD. The installation seems to be fine and while Kali is booting there just come one Error that my WLAN card can't be foundet, but that's no problem because I have Lan. After Kali is booting I can logg me in. So I logg me in as root and type my Password. After that I just see a grey Screen with my working mouse cursor. I can't do nothing. And the console isn't opening. I can just open the Console before I type the username with ctrl+alt+f1.

Anyone know what to do ?

Sounds like a video card driver issue. Can you run a different gui?
