Question Problem with upgrade to Kali-Rolling (2016.1)

    Hello all,

I upgraded my system from Kali 2.0 to Kali-Rolling (2016.1) according this https://www.kali.org/releases/kali-l...dition-2016-1/. But after reboot, during boot my screen strong blinking and in Kali recovery mode I get this errors:

[20.097263] ACPI warning \_SB_PCI0.PEGO.PEGP._DSM: ARGUMENT#Y type mismatch - Found [Buffer], ACPI requires [Package] (20150204/nsarguments-95)
[20.101449] ACPI warning \_SB_PCI0.PEGO.PEGP._DSM: ARGUMENT#Y type mismatch - Found [Buffer], ACPI requires [Package] (20150204/nsarguments-95)

    I use ultrabook ASUS ZENBOOK Prime UX32VD. https://www.asus.com/Notebooks/ASUS-...pecifications/ (Intel® Core™ i7 3517U Processor, NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 620M, Intel® HM76 Express Chipset, dualboot with Windows 8.1). Before upgrade all works correct.
The problem will be probably with drivers of NVIDIA graphic card. I saw here advices for Kali 2.0 and NVIDIA, can I apply this in my case? And what way please?

    Many thanks for your help.

I had the same problem but fortunately I had use timeshift to back up my system and i restored it to the normal version, the rolling edition have a problem with the graphic card i think the GUI is not able to launch properly, at some point i was able to run GUI but the system was very slow i think the problem lays in the kernel compatibility or something though there is no feedback about the whole rolling edition still in the test so i think w fix will be publish soon
