Iceweasel is too big to fit on my monitor, how to I force window size?

Hi. i just upgraded kali to latest version and this changed the theme and everything, however main issue is that when i open up iceweasel and go into preferences, then those windows are too GIGANTIC for my netbook monitor and beacause of that, i can't change any of the settings that are off the monitor. it looks like it is minimum size of the window, but it's too big for my monitor. It's a 10'' netbook with 1024x600 monitor, but that window is GIGANTIC 800 pixels and obviously it won't fit on 600, so bottom half is missing, including apply / cancel buttons.
i tried right click and move and i tried right click and resize, window's bottom half will not come onto monitor no matter what i do.

How do i fix this please?

Erasing iceweasel and installing firefox? (iceweasel is no longer part of kali repsoitory as debian has now the right to use firefox directly - I think)
