    Kali 2.0 - Video Card

    Hi Guys,

I'm trying to setup my Kali with two monitors in an extended desktop config. I only have one on-board VGA socket, so bought a USB DisplayLink. However, after fiddling around and getting it working, I found the performance to be very poor. I believe this is a common fault with the way the screen renders each time there is a change. So I found an old 2 headed (VGA/DVI) ATI Radeon 7000 adapter, which I plugged in. Again, I had issue with the driver and without wasting anymore time on this old card, I thought I would buy something a bit newer. Therefore, could anyone recommend a decent 2 headed adapter (VGA/DVI or DVI/DVI) comb) with PCI x16 or PCI-e X16 that would work right out of the box. I don't want to spend crazy money, just want something that will extend the desktop with a decent user experience. I also don't want to be playing around with drivers/etc. I've had enough of that in the old days with Nvidia cards on previous Kali builds

    Any suggestions guys?

    Thanks for your input.

FYI. I put in a Nvidia FX1700 and after an update, all was good.
