I apologize if I don't write a proper thread, but I am fairly new to Kali and have a lot to learn.

I have a custom pc with an Amd Radeon in PCIe slot: 1:00:0 and a Nvidia GeForce in 2:00.0. Kali's nouveau is able to read my amd gpu by default, but as I've come to learn, nvidia can be very frustrating to install. I followed countless forum instructions on installing nvidia but always reach a point in which I am locked out of the gui and have done everything from running startx, reconfiguring xorg.conf file, and enabling VMs my bios, but I can't get past this problem because I just don't know enough and there are no forums for running nvidia and amd together. feel it might have to do with the fact that changing the kernel to be compatible with nvidia means I must install drivers for amd so I am doing that first now. My questions are whether I can even have amd's drivers coexist with nvidia drivers and if some could PLEASE post a simple walk-through of what I could do after:

-installing rolling kali
-updating and upgrading the repos
-rebooting

Thanks!
