Hello
I am having intermittent startup problems with a clean install of Kali 2016.2 on a Dell Latitude E6230. Sometimes the machine appears to halt during startup.
On startup I have the following log failures on screen:
- [FAILED] Failed to start Authenticate and Authorize Users to Run Pro
See 'systemctl status polkitd.service' for details- [FAILED] Failed to start Network Manager
See 'systemctl status NetworkManager.service' for details- [FAILED] Failed to start Accounts Service
See 'systemctl status accounts-daemon.service' for details
I then get to the last message on this screen:
- [ OK ] Started Update UTMP about System Runlevel Changes.
At this stage the system either displays the Gnome logon prompt after ~3 seconds, or freezes. In this case I can press Alt+F2 to get to a console window but am not sure what else to do.
I have checked the log files as instructed but can't see any errors or ideas for troubleshooting. All three commands show as active (running).
Help appreciated in solving this, thank you!
