Keyboard Backlight :confused:

Hi guys! I just installed the Kali Linux to my Sony VAIO SVE1511T1EB. I have a problem with the keyboard backlight. When I open Windows keyboard backlight is working perfectly but when i open Kali it doesn't work. I can't see any light. I need your helps

i am having the same issue with Sony VAIO E series SVE151D11L , i using kali rolling 2016.2 ... i can't open keyboard from the settings menu ... if i press on the keyboard from the settings window .. the settings window disappear and that is it ... i will let you know if i found a way around it ..
