Error running VBox VM on Kali 2016.2

I've installed VBox on Kali 2016.2 (following AMJ's comment on https://forums.kali.org/showthread.p...on-Kali-2016-1, replacing "jessie" with "stretch"), and I get the following error when trying to run a Windows VM on it:

Failed to open a session for the virtual machine Windows 10.

The VM session was aborted.

Result Code: NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0x80004005)

Interface: ISession {7844aa05-b02e-4cdd-a04f-ade4a762e6b7}

I've tried Windows 10 both x86 and x64, and Windows 8.1 x64 and they all give that error message.
Strange thing is, when I try and run a live session of Kali as the VM it seems to work fine...

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Easiest answer: Don't run it on a VM

More difficult answer: What VM are you using, and what is your computer specs?

Best option: Your best bet is to partition space on USB and umount that space and run it as live persistence. Make sure you follow a guide, as there are 2 software programs and a few line commands that you'll have to do, but you'll never regret doing it. (pretty easy to do too, I swear!) :P
