I've spent the day installing Kali various ways. Initially I've done a fresh install of OSX and upgraded to El Capitan. Then I've ran bootcamp to install Windows 7. Then installed reFind. Then I've installed Kali over the windows partition.
I've also installed Kali to a usb drive. I've gotten past the grub screen but get stuck at a root command line login. I can log in with root. But I only get the command line.
I've had this working before with also having Win7 on bootcamp.
Am I missing something? I've enabled the autologin on the /etc/gdm3/daemon.conf
And I've enabled the graphical user interface in the refind.conf
Any ideas?
