Unhappy Mouse issues after dist-upgrade it's driving me NUTS!!

So, i was planning to sleep around 1am after i would have done the dist-upgrade but it's 4:35am as i am trying to find a solution for my problem.

After the upgrade my mouse isn't functioning as normal, i can't rmb click anything i select in a terminal, all i see is a small bar in the topleft and this issue is driving me nuts!

To see what i mean you can check this link http://unix.stackexchange.com/questi...-after-upgrade as this guy has the same problem as me but also havent found a solution.

I am quite new to linux and kali so i hope some of you experienced guys have a solution, the only solution i got is to reinstall and dont dist-upgrade(is it bad if i dont?)

Hope someone know what is going on.

    Cheers.

I reinstalled and did the update but didn't do the upgrade and that works for now but i hope someone has a solution because we can't be the only ones with this problem, right?

Anyone knows if not upgrading for now is a problem?

    Cheers

Temp fix seems to be hit ctrl+alt+F3
log in as root and type sudo killall -HUP VBoxClient

Also disabling drag-and-drop support for the VM may help

Thanks for your reply, i haven't checked it out yet because for some reason it's working now.

When i did the distro upgrade while installing it asked me something where i had to reply with Y or N and some other keys that would show the differences, N=default, last time i choose N but this time i choose Y and now i Can use the rmb to copy again in terminal so either that fixed the problem or they fixed the bug.
