How to disable USB Legacy Menu Beep 2016.2

How do i go about disabling the loud beep when i boot in to legacy mode on my USB?

I've already tried deleting ^G from menu.cfg on the actual USB itself in /EFI/BOOT

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
