How to install sound drivers

Hi, I'm having a problem with the sound on my PC. At first I installed the full version of Kali, with this version I didn't have any problem with the sound but because my PC isn't powerfull enough and Kali was lagging and that's why I installed the light version where performance is good and PC runs well but sound doesn't come out from my speakers. Windows XP shows me that my sound card is CMI Audio while Kali shows and Intel ICH5. I followed the steps on some sites on the internet and I also found a thread here at the forum but they didn't help me. My speakers are the Logitech z120 and my motherboard is Asrock p4i54g. I'm new to Kali and I don't have much experience.

Use Kali Linux with some lightweight enviroment (Xfce or LXDE) instead of light version.

open a terminal copy and past

apt-get install alsa-utils -y

reboot
and then copy and past this

systemctl --user enable pulseaudio && systemctl --user start pulseaudio

sound icon is on top right tool-bar
