    Exclamation Screen issues on a NVIDIA Optimus Laptop

    Hi, when installing kali or running it live the screen on my Laptop (Acer Aspire V3-772g) freaks out and starts flickering/turning on and off randomly. If i connect my external monitor however everything works like a charm, but only on the external, the internal still freaks out. I installed Ubuntu and Debian and both worked.

    //other specs/infos
    - Kali version: 2016.2
    - Processor: Intel i7-4702MQ
    - Graphics: Intel HD4600 and NVIDIA GTX 760m (Optimus)
    - SecureBoot is off
    - Bios is in EFI mode
    - cant turn off the nvidia in the bios
    - I used dd to create the bootable usb (2. time i used Win32DiskImager)
    - Video of the screen flickering : https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B71...VSRjNzcEE/view

    Any ideas how to fix this problem?

    I'm having this same issue. It's probably due to an incompatibility with the latest NVIDIA drivers, or something like that. I hope they'll fix it soon.

    Hi,
    I solved it having ( VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GF108M [GeForce GT 525M] (rev a1) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller])) via that specific Debian way https://wiki.debian.org/Bumblebee,
    my laptop is Dell inspiron.
