Fresh install on proxmox works with 2016.1 but not 2016.2

Hi

I'm using proxmox 4.3 as my virtual lab, and I try to install a kali on a VM.
Strangely, after a fresh install of version 2016.2, it never started correctly (system hang, no X, almost no service started).
I looked at vm version, vmdk conversion, changed of virtual hardware, drivers, but it never worked.

I try to install version 2016.1, and it works perfectly ! I made an apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade to move to 2016.2, and on next reboot : system is broken again (with the same symptom as before).

I have attached the syslog log from the failed start of a fresh 2016.2. I don't understand why it's happening ...

I got mine to boot by changing the following settings for the proxmox vm:
* KaliVM>Hardware>Display>VMWare Compatible
* KaliVM>Options>Qemu Agent>Yes

Indeed, as soon as I changed the setting "Hardware > Display" it works.
