I'm running kali 2016.2 on a live cd and have an issue where the screen will go black and unresponsive after I have left it idle for a few hours.
The system is still on and the caps lock light on the keyboard comes on when I toggle it which suggests that it is still active.
I've tried disabling sleep and screen blank but with the same result, I have also tried unplugging my monitor and turning it on and off.
