No updates

For the past 3 days, Kali Rolling 2016.2 has retrieved 0 updates via apt-get .
Here is what I'm getting while trying to update,

apt-get update && apt-get upgrade -y

0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.

My /etc/apt/sources.list

deb http://http.kali.org/kali kali-rolling main contrib non-free
# For source package access, uncomment the following line
 deb-src http://http.kali.org/kali kali-rolling main contrib non-free

( I've removed and added # on the last repo no changes)

Also, sources.d folder only has one entry

[root:/etc/apt/sources.list.d]# ls   
google-chrome.list

I have done apt-get clean and autoclean, still same.

Odd that it's looking for chrome ?
