Having some issues getting bluetooth going with Kali installed on a Raspberry Pi 3

managed to get into bluetoothctl after using "sudo bluetoothd"

once in bluetoothctl, typing "power on" as a command gives back the output "no default controller available

at this point i typed in hciconfig -a and there was no output

"ps aux | grep blue" displays five roots: sudo bluetoothd, bluetoothd, sudo bluetoothctl, and grep blue

someone else had this same issue on another forum, here's the link: https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/v...?f=28&t=155169
a poster said that there would be a firmware issue due to the symptoms and that OP should contact the kali packagers

i'm having the same issue as the guy in that thread but figured this would be the place to ask since it is a kali ARM issue.
