I have a Razer Blade that I run Kali on (latest build). Everything is working perfectly apart from HDMI out doesn't work.
The laptop has descrete graphics as below but in Windows can output fine with the Nvidia disabled (via Device Manager - not a massive Windows fan so that might not be 100% accurate).
lspci |grep VGA
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation HD Graphics 530 (rev 06)
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation Device 1c20 (rev a1)
I have followed through every variation on the Nvidia install thread on this forum and every time I have been unable to boot with the Nvidia installed.
The last one I tried was http://lenovolinux.blogspot.co.uk/20...nvidia-gt.html which, on reboot, had the message "there was a problem, log off"
I'm not fussed about using the Nvidia's power but really want the HDMI out to work. Does anyone have any suggestions on this?
