    Kali On Pi Foundation Display

    Hello everyone,

I am embarking on my very first Raspberry Pi project. My plan is to create a mobile pentest station using Kali / WiFi adapter / Mini USB Keyboard / Pi3 Mod / Pi Foundation Display - 7" Touchscreen Display for Raspberry Pi

My question is, how would I configure the Kali image to be compatible with the 7" display?

I ask this because I know the drivers for the display are meant for Raspian only, however, many people are using this screen with full touch capability in Kali.

    Examples:

    1) https://forums.kali.org/showthread.p...-7inch-Display

    2) YouTube videos even if it's not same screen but process identical. Screen meant for Raspian ONLY and is working on Kali.

I have been asking for weeks on hundreds of different forums without answers, any advice would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you

    Hi ApothLab,

That screen should work with Kali out of the box.

    Happy hacking,
