Unhappy Issue while attempting to update

Hey guys, this is script here and I'm a beginner in hacking, I just have downloaded Kali Linux today and it's surely gonna take some time to learn about it!

When I executed the ;apt-get update' command I got the following error

    'Reading package lists... Done
E: The method driver /usr/lib/apt/methods/https could not be found.
N: Is the package apt-transport-https installed?'

Note- I did offline install of my Kali Linux, so couldn't set the update mirrors
For this, I edited my /etc/apt/sources.list file and put there deb http://http.kali.org/kali kali main non-free contrib
    ajd
    deb-src http://http.kali.org/kali kali main non-free contrib

If there's some sort of problem with this, please tell me that also.
Please tell me how to fix these two errors, I will be greatly thankful.

    Regards.

now we have kali-rolling-release...can you try with this source.list:

    deb http://http.kali.org/kali kali-rolling main non-free contrib
    # deb-src http://http.kali.org/kali kali-rolling main non-free contrib

Many users forget to insert "hash #" before the "deb-src". I see the same mistake in your sources.list file.

    hi :-)
deb-src recalls the "main-sources" and in my opinion this is "not essential" ... for the problem mentioned above

I was not referring to your repository. Yours is completely fine. In OP's repository he forgot to insert hash to uncomment deb-src and many people often mistake it. I think that is the cause of error.
