Question Kali Linux isn't able to display what's in "Other Locations"

Hi to all, i'm here because i'm just having problem with Kali Linux, i have installed the 64 bit version of Kali 2.0, and i'm using it in dual boot with Windows 10 Pro 64 bit.
Here's my problem: when i click "Files" on the application bar and select "Other Locations" to have access to the hard disk, this won't open.
I've also tried to do this using the right mouse button but nothing, i'm not able to clik open, while clicking "Open in New Tab" or "Open in New Window" nothing will happen.
I haven't found similar problems on the internet.
Thank you in advance for any replies and i apologize for being a "Gramar Nazi", i'm a "foreigner".
    (Every correction will be accepted.)

Does left click of your mouse work with every other thing in kali than this? You are using mouse right.

Yes, it works with everything but "Other Locations".
My mouse doesn't have any problems, what i'm trying to explain is just that i'm not able to open Computer's folder.

He understand that, but you said you were using the right mouse button. You're supposed to click with the left mouse button.

I don't know why it's not working. Open Gparted and see if drives are present.

i had same issue, instead of trying to access other locations by file explorer i had to installed a different explorer try this:
    -sudo apt-get install dolphin
    -sudo apt-get install kinit kio kio-extras kded5

and then type -sudo dolphin to open new file explorer. This should now let you access other locations

I am having the same issue. I cannot download and install dolphin from apt-get install commands or by adding rep's. Still cannot access the "other locations" tab in nautilus.

if you can't install dolphin using apt-get try this:
    - download from here https://sourceforge.net/projects/dolphinfileman/
    - copy download to your home directory
    -open terminal
    -sudo tar -xvzf dolphin-0.6.1.tar.gz

Then type -dolphin to open file explorer

    Hello Tsuwamono,

    I faced same problem yesterday

I guess it happened cuz I made some changes in dconf

Here are steps I did and the issue was resolved

    1.Open dconf Editor
Go to org»gnome»file-roller» then in each sub catagory , double click on every entries on right side and select "use default value"
    Do the same for org»gnome»nautilus

    2.Open terminal
    Type

    apt-get update
    apt-get install file-roller
    apt-get install nautilus

    3.Reboot!

I hope that solves your issue (worked for me!)
