    885 not upgraded

    Hello!

I just install Kali and do my first step in. I have a little question. Even I make my apt-get update and make sure the sources.list contain the last information I get from Kali Linux Website (cd /etc/apt/, nano sources.list, copy the repositories, ctrl-o, ctrl-, etc..), After I apt-get upgrade the system, I still have 885 not updated. I get basically this information:
0 upgraded, o newly installed, 0 to remove and 885 not upgraded.

Even my first upgrade was over 230MB and the second one (after update my sources.list) was 76mb.

It is normal 885 not updated?

    Thank you for you advise!

These 885 are dependencies. They are upgraded by entering apt-get dist-upgrade.
