Hello guys, i'm currently using VirtualBox on my windows 8.1 host machine and lately the i tried to create a shared folder between my host machine, Kali Linux and other VMs in my virtual box. Since i have already installed the guest edition of my virtualBox i created a folder on my host machine and set the sharing option to everyone and selected it from vm setting of kali and the other from the the vm setting menu. first all seems fine it worked for windows 7 and 8.1 but when i try to find it in my kali Linux media file there is no shared file and when i tried to use the the other Location menu to browse the shared the file there are it keeps bringing me a windows network folder and its unable to open that too...please help i spent almost a whole day on it??
