    Hello,

I have the same problem, and thus tried that solution, but it didn't work for me :/
Here is the error I get :

Job for pulseaudio.service failed because the control process exited with error code. See "systemctl --user status pulseaudio.service" and "journalctl -xe" for details.

Here is the detail of my audio device :

00:1f.3 Audio device: Intel Corporation Sunrise Point-H HD Audio (rev 31)
Subsystem: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. Sunrise Point-H HD Audio
    Control: I/O- Mem+ BusMaster+ SpecCycle- MemWINV- VGASnoop- ParErr- Stepping- SERR- FastB2B- DisINTx+
    Status: Cap+ 66MHz- UDF- FastB2B- ParErr- DEVSEL=fast >TAbort- <TAbort- <MAbort- >SERR- <PERR- INTx-
    Latency: 32
Interrupt: pin A routed to IRQ 142
    Region 0: Memory at da128000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=16K]
    Region 4: Memory at da100000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=64K]
    Capabilities: <access denied>
    Kernel driver in use: snd_hda_intel
    Kernel modules: snd_hda_intel

    Does anyone have an idea?
