software install on kali linux w07

I just installed kali linux w07 and when I try and open the "software" link nothing happens, will not show any additional software, am trying to install graphic & game software, what do I need to do, did not have this problem when using kali linux 2016.2, any assistance appriciated

Hello, first try in command line to see any error message that could help us,
second update your kali from command line apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade)
third, please provide a paste of your source.list from command line do : cat /etc/apt/sources.list | nc termbin.com 9999 and provide us the link.

aris0v.......tks for assistance, did both apt-gets and ran "cat/etc/apt/sources.list | nc termbin.com 9999 and got following:

was now able to install some of the programs from "packages" apt, thanks again for your assistance,
