Need Help with root password

I need help either reseting the root password or by passing this all together. The password I entered during the instalation process is not being recognized by kali as the correct login password.

Linux operating systems are designed to be unbreakable. I doubt any tool will work. You can search on internet how to retrieve or hack root password using kali live. Even if there is a way the password you retrieve will be a hash and you will be required rainbow table to find the corresponding plain text of that hash.
