touchpad problem

hello every one
i have been using kali linux from past 1.5 years. But recently after installing Kali Rolling in Acer Aspire E5 - 572G the touchpad started to lag. It doesn't move when i move my finger. It only works when i double click and hold it. But external mouse works fine. But the same touchpad is fully functional in windows 10(i have windows installed too). I have installed kali in legacy mode. I have tried reinstalling the Kali Linux twice. But after few reboot the tocuhpad problem still lies. Please provide any solution if anyone can.

maybe you can try:

modprobe -r psmouse
modprobe psmouse proto=imps

that solved a problem with finger click on my Aspire touchpad...
