Hi,

I'm trying to enable Japanese input on Kali Linux, but it's not working. I've installed mozc and anthy via the CLI, but neither are working. In the language options of Kali Linux I can see mozc but not anthy. However, when mozc is selected and I switch keyboards to Japanese input with hiragana, no Japanese appears.

To install I used these commands:

Code:
apt install ibus-mozc
apt install anthy
I found how to change the settings to the input method configuration:

Code:
im-config
And, to add language engines to ibus:

Code:
ibus-setup
However, mozc is still not working for hiragana input. I set it to ibus, but still no dice.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Can anyone help me? Am I missing a package?[/quote]
