copy & paste via highlighting and middle/right mouse button in Terminal

    Hi,

how do I activate copying through highlighting text in the terminal/overall and paste it via middle/right click? I use the touchpad of a Lenovo Thinkpad. Unfortunately I could not find something matching here in the forum nor through Google.

    Thank you!

    It's usually Ctrl+Shift+C or Ctrl+C. Paste is typically Ctrl+Shift+V or Ctrl+V

Thanks for the reply. However, this didn't work for me, only via right click and selecting "copy" and "paste" out of the menu.
All other Linuxes I know work the way I described above for copying and pasting in the terminal. This is what I am searching for.

^^ That's strange. In Terminal Ctrl+Shift+C / Ctrl+Shift+V should work. Is your keyboard okay?

In Terminal you can press F1 to open the help page. There is an entry for copy and paste. But I guess there you will find Ctrl+Shift+C / Ctrl+Shift+V again.
