Large amount of packages tagged for Autoremove

I'm confused as to why so many packages are tagged for autoremove, especially w3af?

The following packages were automatically installed and are no longer required:

I recently reinstalled Kali using one of the weekly builds & noticed it doesn't have w3af in it. Don't use w3af, so not a big deal.

Purely speculation on my part, but the Kali dev team is doing some cleanup/renovation of the distro.

    Looks like you're right:
    http://pkg.kali.org/pkg/w3af
    [2017-01-13] w3af 1.6.54+git20160429+1-0kali1 removed from kali-rolling (Kali Repository)

    Thanks!
