almost 2 days of trying stumped...

    Hey ...

So apt-get dist-upgrade seems to be a bit wayward gets to the same point every bleeping time...

Downloads of latest iso from safe mirrors are not matching on SHA's an that. I have trawled google and every bloody where for a solution, and the ones i have come across simply do not work. I dont really wanna do a fresh install as they aint safe so to speak.

    This is what i get:

    Hashes of expected file:
    - SHA256:e457a83a67b40af126151d0699e8b37bd1d5b798ebb 1981c48e89f2f6156f620
    - SHA1:89c982b7dd71711dffde62c09bc5ed5e01a2fb16 [weak]
    - MD5Sum:97f2dff80a0137c61425f5eb2c273fe2 [weak]
    - Filesize:45640332 [weak]
    Hashes of received file:
    - SHA256:a41d499f5fc87a21a047eba0f287e199c384850153b d7c876f1a21583a93a75e
    - SHA1:1bc756de4f6cb2eb0c9b5758ffbf93cb935bc484 [weak]
    - MD5Sum:98e2b5f67e7b2c581d5b959e050745d4 [weak]
    - Filesize:45640332 [weak]

so i obviously aint right as it seems - this is only started happening in the past couple of days.

Linked to Official mirrors and sources.list has only the legit repositories from Kali official site....

Stumped as title says, all help appreciated.

You've probably hit a stale mirror. If this issue doesn't resolve itself in a few hours, you can try to:

    1) Identify the stale mirror using the command : curl -sI (that's a capital I) and then report it back to us.
    2) Temporarily hardcode your sources.list file to point to a specific mirror, eg :

PS - your post title isn't very helpful for anyone with future issues like yours. Please try to use better titles in the future. Something like "Getting hash mismatches when trying to apt-get upgrade" would be a much better candidate.
