Unhappy OnePlus One Nethunter Install fails

    hey guys,

got a problem with installing nethunter on my oneplus one.
its bootloader is unlocked, twrp(twrp-3.1.0-0-bacon.img) is installed
    its rooted
    i got a cm13 version (cm13.0-20161205).

i wipe it, format it, install cm13, everything works fine. it boots without any problem into cm 13.0.

then i start installing nethunter from twrp (nethunter-oneplus1-lollipop-3.0, zip install from twrp). It doesnt show me that kali install screen some get while installing...

But after installing it lists me a lot of folders in red, in which it cant read.(install log seen in the pictures)

    Screenshot_2017-03-22-15-20-48.jpgScreenshot_2017-03-22-15-20-53.jpgScreenshot_2017-03-22-15-20-59.jpgScreenshot_2017-03-22-15-21-12.jpg

right after that i cant boot it. its always the same... i dont know what i m doing wrong...

retried it with another cm (cm-13.0-20161224-WEEKLY-bacon) and an older TWRP(twrp-2.8.6.0-bacon).
Install of cm went well, everything fine, but then again starting nethunter install and getting the error codes of the not found directions... i also made sure the nethunter isnt corrupt. i dont know what to do now ...

HI Misc, lets see what we can do. from your screenshots, make sure you charge your phone first. At 17% it about to go into saver mode.
Second the red errors are let over from the build, ignore them.
Third, after installing cm 13, double check that you have the developer options and usb debugging enabled.

At first thanks for your reply.
So the red errors are no problems while installing?
Developer options and use debugging are enabled.

i think you have solve your probleme but

    here ,installed TWRP ,

flash one plus one back to cm-12.1-YOG4PAS3JL-bacon-signed.zip
    flash SuperSU.zip
and boot ,when android is ready ,reboot on recovery
    flash nethunter-oneplus1-lollipop-3.0.zip

    and all work fine....
but no upgrade for lastest update

    i have made another post about updating it ( flashing nethunter-generic-i386-kalifs-full-rolling-3.15.4-20170211-0304.zip & kernel-nethunter-oneplus1-lollipop-3.15.4-20170211-0304.zip )

but my device ( TL-WN722N ) dont want turn in monitor mode after this .....

    same on https://build.nethunter.com/nethunteros/CM14_1/bacon/

i have see release for 14.1 ,but not working here.
    released 1st april ,

    i have try :
    lineage-14.1-20170410-nightly-bacon-signed.zip+los-14.1-20170103-bacon-nethunteros.zip = not working,
lineage-14.1-20170320-nightly-bacon-signed.zip (the release before nethuter release was been put online )
    + los-14.1-20170103-bacon-nethunteros.zip = not working

    same with lineage-14.1-20170213-nightly-bacon-signed.zip+los-14.1-20170103-bacon-nethunteros.zip
    only fail ....

where report it to nethunter dev ?

I just got my OnePlus 1 and I did this route: 1. Unlock Bootloader 2. Install TWRP 3.1.1.0 3. Install CM12.1 and GAPPS for 5.1.1 4. Boot, install busybox 5. Install NetHunter.apk then let that update automatically through the app 6. ;Then I rebooted into recovery, flashed the nethunter 3.0 lollipop and now I have all the apps and full chroot. My only problem is even though i can get NH Term app to work and get permissions, I can't get any metapackages to install or get wifite to run due to it not being able to find a terminal app installed. I'm stuck now.

    You bet, thanks a million!

I will flash lineage-14.1-20170814-nightly-bacon-signed.zip first, flash your update-nethunter-bacon-lineageos-14.1-20170818.zip second and nethunter-oneplus1-lollipop-3.0.zip third. Will this be okay?

Just now I'm using Android 5.0.2 (CM 12.0) with your kernel 3.4.67 and non-upgraded nethunter-oneplus1-lollipop-3.0 - I'm happy that it works.

Don't flash the third, it's irrelevant (old version, very outdated) and may cause problems. Just flash ROM (first file), then my update (second file) and that's it

Yes, thanks. I was absent-minded yesterday ... Lollipop-Kernel for Nougat

It's very convenient. The package update-nethunter-bacon-lineageos-14.1-20170818.zip contains all nethunter apps and busybox.

Required is TWRP, Lineage 14.1 and root. That's all.

Enjoy You might want to get the full rootfs through the app as well. Been thinking if I should create one file that has that too but it'd take too much storage

To give some feedback: I'm just a noob, but as far as I can judge it's working fine!

There is the known issue with terminal app. Terminal crashes after installation. Reinstalling the apps solves it.

    My workflow:

    - Uninstallation of terminal-, vnc- and nethunter-app.
    - Reinstalling terminal-, vnc- and nethunter-app in that order.

Somewhere I read the order is important. I haven't tried just to reinstall the terminal app, maybe that would be enough.

I was missing the BLueNMEA app, so I installed that, too.

Monitor mode (external adapter) is working fine, airodump-ng is working fine, kismet and gpsd are working fine. I have not tried anything else yet.

    Thanks for the feedback.

I just ported the kernel, the apps and how they perform are the generic ones that come by default, so I can't fix that... but I'm glad you found a workaround.

@Phreya great work! I've been going insane trying different ROMs but finding one for Lineage 14 is a Godsend! Thank you so much !

For those who don't know what you'll need to get your OnePlus 1 running Nethunter here is the entire list

Additionally if you're having issues as @mstrmnn posted in regards to Terminal, VNC and the Kali app you can find all of those APKs here:

Why do you need Gapps for a Nethunter device?

Can you or someone else detail what is in the update-nethunter-lineageos-bacon, so that I can continue to enjoy nethunter on my OPO while updating lineageos. Also, the August version is based on Kali sana rather than rolling, so the /etc/apt/sources.list has to be edited to allow apt-get update and upgrade.

@mstrmmn are you still having issues with the Terminal? I followed your workflow and every time I attempt to open Terminal and select Kali I see an an quick error of a file missing and then the window closes.

    Hi.
    Quick question.
I am using TP-Link-TL-WN722N as my external wifi Interface on my OPO device.
Are the Driver/Firmware Atheros built-in this package for wifi connect after installation of
update-nethunter-bacon-lineageos-14.1-20170818? Do I need a separate kernel (patch) to download.
    Thanks.

    No, it's working fine here.

I reinstalled it several times because it tried to encrypt the phone. Encryption always failed but installation always suceed.

    So I'm sorry I can't help.

Yes. You don't have to install the drivers separately.

    It's there: https://download.lineageos.org/bacon

But I would try the newest nightly, first!

I updated my OPO lineage os to the 12/18/2017 version and reinstall nethunter as follows: In recovery mode, I flashed addonsu.zip then rebooted to recovery again. I flashed the update-nethunter-bacon-lineageos-20170818. I opened Nethunter apk and gave it the permissions it sought. installed kalifs-minimal.tar.xz, open Nethunter terminal did apt-get update and apt-get dist-upgrade -y (now on kali-rolling for unknown reason)

I would try it again but skip install of cynigenmod as nethunter is itself a ROM.
With such a small device you probley used up your system space by trying to install two ROMs to one device. Limited space means executive decisions.

I'm the one that maintains OPO. I might get back to it and deliver a new version. We'll see.
