can someone explain or point me to answers about what amazon is and isnt?

like is the cloud computing where i get a virtual box online like a seed box where i could upload my .cap files and have the crackers in the virtual box do the work or does it use your own local machine do the work?

i am concerned that the large amount of bandwidth may not make it work for me if i have to keep a terminal window open to amazon or something.

It's like a dedicated server (server that you rent) pretty much and use.
