I will talk you through the steps I've taken thus far:

1. Install Kali Linux iso from offensive security website
2. Using the dd command, made my USB bootable with the iso
3. Restart my MacBook Pro and hold option to get to alternative booting options
4. Boot from the EFI (my USB)
5. Select install Kali Linux on the menu

From this point forward my keyboard and touchpad do not work on the install, prohibiting me from completing it. I presume it's a driver issue as an external keyboard works just fine. Is there a way for this to be fixed? I am on a 13.3 inch Retina MacBook Pro 2017.

I also wanna check that the method I have done above is the correct one, as I don't want to mess up my new MacBook.
Thanks,
