Dpkg Problem

Hello, recently i made a big mistake by deleting my /var/log/dpkg file..... i try to put it back using various things i got from the internet but none of these fix the problem.
Does anyone know how to restore dpkg so i can update my system properly?

It's the log file, nothing to worry about and that didn't break anything. You just lost some logs, that's it.

I wrote it wrong... i delete the var/lib/dpkg... not the log :/
