No caching mod page found

I installed kali 2017 in a usb harddisk and when i try to boot from it, it give me a error message as;
6:0:0:0: [sdb]No caching mode page found
6:0:0:0:[sdb] Assuming drive cashe: write through
.
.
Alert! /dev/sdb2 does not exist. Dropping to shell!
How should i repair this? When i unplug the harddisk with windows 10 it works fine. But i cant keep on unplugging it everytime since i have to remove the laptop everytime.

I have this same issue and I have searched high and low for the solution, I even posted here but was warned by the admin. I really don't know what to do because I am also in the same mess with you. Please can someone here point us in the right direction of solving this issue.
