    kali and libpng

    Hello.
    I want to run a specific programm (teensy loader) and it wants the libpng12 library. The problem is kali 2016.2 doesn't have it (which it doesn't make sense because most distros have it) and when trying to install it with apt-get the package doesn't exist. Should I try installing it from github or something?

    You could try github or some other source. However, if a package doesn't exist in the repos, then you should be extra careful. I'd do a full backup before, just to be safe.
