    Resizing partition help

I am booted to the gparted live cd and am trying to give my Kali partition a little more space. I have a 20gig etx4 partition to the left of my Kali Linux partition, but between them is a 1mb grub2 core.img so I can't extend the kali partition to include the 20gigs to the left. Is it safe to delete the grub2 core.img ? How can I get the 20gigs over to my Kali partition.

I never noticed this partition. You should have a look what does that partition have by mounting it. I've grub installed in EFI partition. Your partition looks like it contains grub 2 core image. I don't have this and i've extended the space of my kali filesystem 2 times.
