Kali with 4.12 kernel

Hi guys,

I just got brand new ThinkPad T470s. I want to install Kali as host OS but this laptop works best with kernels newer than 4.9. For example 4.11 introduces fix for power management on NVMe SSD, 4.12 has update for hotkeys on T470. Is there a Kali build with new kernel? What kernel does latest daily build have?

Just downloaded daily ISO and tested by starting in virtualbox, the kernel is still 4.9 :/ it is easy to install Kali to 4.12 ?

Kali is currently running with kernel v4.9. The next kernel upgrade is yet to be released by offensive security.
