    ath10k/pre-cal-pci-0000:03:00.0.bin firmware error

Upon install of Kali to my HD, I get an error saying this firmware is missing: ath10k/pre-cal-pci-0000:03:00.0.bin

A Google search lead me here:

    https://github.com/ajaybhatia/Qualco...377-Wifi-Linux

I have zero clue what to do now though lol. Is there a way to bake that .bin file into the Kali .iso I downloaded? Putting a file into a .iso is easy, but where do I put it and in that link I provided, when I donwloaded it, I can't find a .bin file with that name anywhere in it.

Any help would be super appreciated! This is the last roadblock to having a 100% legit functional local install of Kali on my new laptop

    Thanks!

It's not an error. Installer is just telling you that it is missing. Ignore this step and proceed to installation. After finishing the installation boot kali and copy that file in /lib/firmware. Did you realize that it is a driver of your wifi adapter?

Ok, but I can't find that .bin anywhere to copy it there lol. I thought it would be in that file at the link I provded.

Yeah, my WiFi works fine after install, I guess this is the firmware that makes the MU-MIMO tech functional for the higher speeds. I'm guessing anyway.

Search that file on internet. It is available for download.
