GPU not working when booting live from sdcard

When i try to boot any live option (from sd card) beside failsafe, the system pretty much works until the gui is supposed to show up. It doesnt, just every pixel gets some random color. The thing about my dedicated gpu is that it kind of isnt working. I was using the integrated one for ages now (works fine with win7). Gui works properly when booting with failsafe mode. I presume that the system wont realize it should be using the integrated one or something. The same .iso file i am using works perfectly in vmware.

2017.1 64 bit (i really hope thats the information i am supposed to write here)

HP elitebook 8460p
processor:
intel core i7-2620m

You didn't write the model of your dedicated graphic card. Is it Nvidia?

I have the some problem with the same machine CPU: Intel i7-2620M (4) @ 3.400GHz, SSD card, crucial MX200,
In another disk hitachi 500gb with windows 10 student edition and have another problem when restartin or shuting down the machine, that not happend, why stays in sleep mode about 5 minutes
same solution about this problem I would appreciate it.
