I get a simialr problem with my rtl8812au card when i use kismet, or similar programs. I think the issue is that kismet puts the card into monitor mode and gets stuck there ...if I close kismet then remove the card and reinsert it (or rmmod rtl88xxau, then modprobe it again) it starts working. Just a thought?
