    Kernal 4.12.0 has broken Wifi

    Hi all
I was running Kali 2017.1 and my Dell XPS 13 with Killer Wifi card worked perfectly.

Did dist upgrade to Kali 2017.2 and it updated wifi firmware and kernel.
Now I cant stay online for more then 5 mins and need to do a restart to re conect for another 5 mins.
I saw new kernel update today so tried that 4.12.kali2 and still wifi broken.

So have to switch to 4.11 kernel for now.

Any news on a fix for this?

    Hello,
I tried with the new Kernel
    Linux kali 4.13.0-kali1-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.13.4-2kali1 (2017-10-16) x86_64 GNU/Linux

but am still having trouble scanning for access points with my card (Panda PAU09). Has anyone tried with this new version and can tell me if it works for them? Ta

    Hi Dudley,

received my PAU09 in the mail today and it's working fine with the latest kernel on all the platforms I tested (x86_64, ARM, ARM64).
What exactly isn't working for you?

    Hi re4son,
the PAU09 is working fine now, what threw me at first is that I can't run
'iwlist wlan0 scan' so I thought it's not working at all if I can't even see an access point.

Apart from that command though everything else, i.e. finding stations with airodump-ng and packet injection is working fine now.

I'm still down and out with my PAU09, can't find wifi networks therefore can't connect to any.
