So I had recently updated to Kali 2017.2 and my screen got stuck on grey screen after logging in.
After researching I find out that this is due to video server crashing.
At this point i decide to follow this guide because I also needed to set up nVidia Card in my laptop

After doing this, though I am able to reach the desktop but my folders are missing. Nautilus has stopped working and shows this error
