Dear community,
Last week I bought the AWUS036ACH for my RaspberryPi3 to find out that it is not compatible concerning "monitor mode".
Diver installation was the worst experience I have ever had and in my opinion this adapter is just not implemented well for Raspi.
Unfortunately it looked like it was the best adapter you could get because it supports 2.4 + 5 GHz and the range was INCREDIBLE.
I found like 25 other accesspoints in my building (high-rise).
But this is useless when the driver does not work properly and you can't activate monitor mode and use it for kali-stuff.
So I will return this adapter and buy a new one.
Which should I buy? I have no problems with Alfa Network but I will never buy chipset RTL8812AU for my Raspberry again.
Next adapter MUST have:
- FULL support for RaspberryPi3 <-- MOST IMPORTANT
- monitor mode
- good range
- packet injection (?)
- size does not matter
Can you help me with that?
