Hi there,
After trying hard the entire day, I can't get nethunter working by myself, so I ask for you help.
I just bought a Nexus 9 tablet, Android 7.1.1 installed.
I am able to install back Android 6.0.1 (via google official factory images). I installed this ROM with the following commands :
Code:
fastboot flash bootloader bootloader-flounder-3.48.0.0135.img
fastboot reboot-bootloader
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash cache cache.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash vendor vendor.img
The tablet is now back to factory condition under android 6.0.1
I can use TWRP (3.1.1) to install supersu (2.82).
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot boot twrpImage/twrp-3.1.1-0-flounder.img
adb push supersu/SuperSU-v2.82-201705271822.zip /sdcard/supersu.zip
adb shell "twrp install /sdcard/supersu.zip"
Supersu installation finishes without any error/failure.
I then push my nethunter image "nethunter-flounder-marshmallow-3.0.zip" to the tablet and tries to install it :
Code:
adb push kaliNethunter/nethunter-flounder-marshmallow-3.0.zip /sdcard/kaliNethunter.zip
adb shell "twrp install /sdcard/kaliNethunter.zip"
the installation goes all the way down to :
Code:
Checking for Kali Chroot in installer, this can take a while ...
The progress bar in TWRP is actually at aproximately 90%. The tablet suddenly reboots, I have the kali/nethunter boot animation at startup, but nothing seems to be installed, I'm still under android 6.0.1 ...
Any help would be appreciate, I never played with phones/tablet this way before, I'm not very comfortable with all this :-)
If you need further logs/information, feel free to ask
Thank you by advance !
EDIT :
Problem solved, I found a nougat version of nethunter, packaging supersu
The installation succeeded !
Sorry for the useless post ...
