Problems configuring LAMP server on Kali Linux

Hi everyone I'm noob on forums so threat me well If I make a mistake. So straight to the point I have certain problems trying to configure apache mysql and php acording to this video

So i cant run test.php as first error. Second I have this error trying to run mysql

/usr/bin/mysqladmin: connect to server at 'localhost' failed
error: 'Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2)'
Check that mysqld is running and that the socket: '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' exists!

Certainly I can't don anything involving mysql.
So if somebody already know how to configure this tier I would say thank you very much I also use this but I run into troubles with mysql
