compatible wifi usb adaptor

hi all,

I am running kali on virtualbox.

can i use the below adaptor for monitoring using airmon & airplay

i tried with the tp link wn722n version 2 but it cannot be set into monitor mode.

I will have to return the tp link and get the alfa adaptor.

Please advise if this is compatible for packet capture (monitor mode)

Not sure if the AWUS036NHV is compatible ... i *think* it has the RTL8188EUS chipset... but these are the recommended cards these days:

* 2.4GHz Alfa AWUS036NHA
* 2.4GHz TP-Link TL-WN722N v1
* 5GHz Alfa AWUS051NH v2.

My preference is the 5GHz Alfa AWUS051NH v2. Good power, range, and it channel hops between the 2.4 and 5 GHz ranges
