Hi,
I've been trying to install Kali linux (dual booted with windows 10) on my laptop but failed. Finds out the problem comes from my laptop because when I try to run my bootable usb drive onto my main computer, it works ! Now onto the details :
My laptop :
It is in uefi mode and can't switch into legacy mode. I've Burned lastest kali linux iso onto my usb drive with Rufus. reference : HP Probook x360 11 G1
My main computer :
Made it by myself 3 or 4 years ago, doesn't have UEFI (Legacy mode).
My USB hardrive :
16 Go hardrive from kingston. reference : DT101 G2
I would love some help ! If you need more details onto my laptop or other stuff just ask ! Thanks in advance ! (Hope that my english was alright)
PS : Maybe it's due to kali not supporting UEFI, but if so, I don't know if there's a compatible version of kali with uefi.
